Verdura Resort, Italy’s Best Golf Resort, chooses Golfmanager as its management software

Golfmanager, the software designed to fully digitize the daily operations of golf clubs, takes a significant step forward in Italy by incorporating Verdura Resort and Il Picciolo Etna Golf Resort & Spa.

With the addition of Verdura Resort, Golfmanager expands its presence in the Italian market, where it already manages several other golf courses, including Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, Official Venue of the 2023 Ryder Cup.

According to the latest Golf World rankings, the Italian resort’s East Course is the best golf course in Italy. Furthermore, it appears in third place within the Top 100 Best Golf Resorts in Continental Europe (led by the Greek Costa Navarino, also managed by Golfmanager) as well as in nineteenth position on a global level within the same classification.

Verdura Resort, which features two golf courses designed by famous architect Kyle Phillips, is undisputed in the European golf market. It belongs to the five-star Rocco Forte hotel chain, which hosts the European Tour professional tournament Rocco Forte Sicilian Open.

Golfmanager is increasing its market share in Italy

In addition to Verdura Resort, Il Picciolo Etna Golf Resort & Spa has also chosen Golfmanager’s innovative multi-device and 100% cloud-based platform.

The Etna, Nebrodi, and Rio Alcántara Natural Parks surround Il Picciolo as a refined refuge surrounded by nature. It was the first 18-hole golf course built on Sicily by the Italian architect Luigi Rota Caremoli in 1898. It has an extension of 5.87 meters, a driving range, and a putting green, making it among the top 60 golf courses in Italy, according to Golf World.
