Golfmanager and Swoop Golf Partner to Bring AI-Powered Concierge and Autonomous On-Course Delivery to Golf Clubs

Table of contents

Golfmanager, the AI-Core Golf Operating System redefining how golf clubs operate, optimize, and grow, has announced a strategic integration with Swoop Golf, an AI concierge platform for golf resorts, destination properties, and private clubs.

The partnership is live in an active pilot at two properties: Carden Park in the UK, the multi-award-winning golf and spa resort set across 1,000 acres of Cheshire countryside, and Salgados Golf Club in Portugal (managed by Troon), an 18-hole, par-72 course set within the Salgados Lagoon Nature Reserve in the Algarve.

The pilots mark the first time robotic ground delivery and drone fulfillment have been connected directly to a golf management platform’s tee sheet.

Where the Tee Sheet Meets the Conversational Layer

Swoop Golf operates on a premise that sets it apart from every existing on-course ordering product: that golfers should be able to contact the club the way they already talk to everyone else, in the Swoop app or in the WhatsApp or SMS thread they already have open, and get an answer drawn from everything the club knows about them.

A player requests what they need — food to the fairway, a dining reservation after the round, a spa slot, a tee time rebook. Swoop’s AI concierge handles the exchange in plain language, confirms the order at the club’s own prices, and closes payment in the same thread before anything leaves the kitchen.

The integration with Golfmanager powers the concierge’s real-time awareness of what is happening on the course. A live connection to Golfmanager’s API gives Swoop read access to the tee sheet, golfer records, and POS catalogue — so the concierge knows which players are on the course, at what time, and on which hole.

Every ticket fires directly to the club’s own kitchen system and settles on Golfmanager’s POS as it would from any till. Swoop never writes to the club’s catalogue and sends no price to the system. All pricing authority remains with the club.

Ground Robots and Drones: On-Course Delivery Beyond the Buggy

The pilots at Carden Park and Salgados Golf Club extend the integration into physical delivery, entering territory no at-scale golf operator has tested before. Alongside each club’s own staff and buggies, which remain the primary fulfilment route, this property is activating two additional delivery modes on a scheduled, opt-in basis.

Ground mode deploys sidewalk-scale autonomous robots that run repeatable delivery loops across the property. Scoped to each resort’s specific layout during the pilot design phase, the robots cover the fairways and service routes most suited to unmanned delivery, and are calibrated to handle periods of high volume or reduced staffing.

Aerial mode goes further still. Speedbird Aero, a certificated drone operator, operates at the property under its own regulatory approvals and insurance, reaching terrain, water crossings, elevated ground, and areas beyond a ground vehicle’s range that a buggy or robot cannot access.

The kitchen fires the ticket, Golfmanager closes the transaction, and the drone delivers to wherever the golfer is on the course.

Beyond the Course

The two companies are also exploring the integration for Golfmanager’s indoor golf, simulator and driving range clients, where the same concierge takes the order from the bay, and the venue’s own kitchen fulfils it.

Golfmanager and Swoop plan to show the integration together at industry events over the coming months.

“The golf club of the future will know where its players are, understand what they typically order, and anticipate the right moment to serve them — without requiring them to search for a menu or leave the course”.

“Swoop’s integration with Golfmanager brings that vision to life: the tee sheet becomes the trigger, the concierge becomes the channel, and robots or drones complete the final step of delivery. We’re delighted to partner with Swoop on a solution that reflects how technology can make the golf experience more seamless, personalised, and intelligent, said Daniel Sillari, CEO and co-founder at Golfmanager.

“Golfmanager is leading the way on AI in golf, and partnering with them puts Swoop’s concierge inside the system their clubs already run on. A club on Golfmanager already knows who is playing, when they teed off, and what they ordered last time. Swoop turns that into a concierge in every golfer’s pocket, one that answers like it has known them for years”

“The next step is a club that never waits to be asked. It sees a four-ball making the turn, offers the drinks they had last Saturday, and has them waiting at the tenth tee, by buggy, by robot or by drone,” said Ty Hayes, COO and Co-Founder of Swoop Golf.

“What excites me most is how far this goes beyond the course. Golfmanager runs indoor golf, simulator, and driving range venues as well as clubs, and the same concierge that serves a golfer on the 14th can serve a group in a bay. We’re already looking at the first of those together, and we’re planning to show the integration side by side at industry events over the coming months,” said Ryan Donovan, CRO and Co-Founder of Swoop Golf.

“Integrating this unique delivery option and AI concierge technology enhances our ability to serve golfers efficiently and in a memorable way,” said Jon Schauder, Troon Executive at Salgados Golf Club. “Advances in technology streamline the ordering process, allowing golfers to enjoy our service quickly via drone in addition to our buggy bar.”
