Golfmanager Automates Tee Time Schedules Based On Daylight

Table of contents

Golfmanager has introduced its second product update of 2026, designed with a clear goal in mind: helping golf clubs spend less time on administrative tasks and more time enhancing the member and player experience.

The new features were presented during an exclusive client webinar, where Golfmanager also shared its product roadmap and upcoming developments, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and collaboration with golf clubs.

Tee Time Schedules That Automatically Adjust To Daylight

The most significant innovation in this release is the automatic adjustment of booking availability based on the actual sunrise and sunset times for each day.

Using the club’s geographical coordinates, the system dynamically calibrates tee sheet opening and closing times throughout the year.

This eliminates the need for staff to manually update tee time schedules as seasons change.

Managers can also define custom buffers before sunrise or after sunset, ensuring the course is only bookable during real daylight hours. This not only improves the player experience but also prevents operational issues linked to seasonal time changes.

Less Operational Friction And Greater Control Across Bookings, POS, And Inventory

Alongside this key feature, the update includes several additional improvements driven by club feedback:

  • Booking-type exceptions within course closures
Clubs can now create general course blocks while excluding specific booking types, such as tournaments or special events, without complex configurations
  • Bulk membership billing through the POS
When creating a subscription, staff can generate and collect all fees for the selected period in a single transaction, reducing time and administrative errors
  • Multiple automatic benefits linked to memberships
A single membership can now include several benefits, such as green fees, paddle court hours, or restaurant credit, all activated automatically upon payment
  • Approval workflows for stock transfers
Inventory transfers between warehouses now require a second user validation, strengthening internal control and security

With these improvements, Golfmanager continues to move towards a management model where technology anticipates operational needs, automates key processes, and frees up time for teams to focus on the player and member experience.

As Rafael Vera, co-CEO and co-founder of Golfmanager, explains:

“Our goal is for technology to work for the club, not the other way around. Every development is designed to remove friction from daily operations and give teams tools that adapt to the realities of the golf industry, helping them better manage their time, their business, and their customer experience.”
